A MUM has shared the comical moment her son “grassed” on her excuse for taking him out of school for a holiday.
Mum Dione uploaded the messages she received from his primary school asking why her son was absent from class.

In the messages they stated: “Attendance is more important than ever, everyday matters. Thanks.”
Dione, who posts under @dionewalker3, showed how she had decided to leave out the truth, and had said her son was sick and had “spots and a rash on him.”
She added: “We think it’s chicken pox he’s going to the chemist for them to have a look at it. Thank you.”
However, the school stopped her in her tracks sharing what the young boy had told his
teachers instead.
They replied that the boy had “told staff that he was going to Tenerife on a Jet2 aeroplane.”
Dione was mortified and took to TikTok saying: “There is no bigger grass than a toddler.
“My 5 year old giving me karma for lying.”
The post has racked up 42,000 likes, and many people were quick to reply in the comments.
One said: “LOL .. surely they can’t reply with something like that.”
Dione replied: “I read it three times thinking the same thing, also think the office staff need a pay rise because the reply was 10/10.”
We’re taking our girl, 9, out of school, they don’t mind & it’s already saved us thousands even after a trip to Disney
Another added: “I just wouldn’t tell the kids they going until the morning they going.”
The mum joked: “I will not be telling him next time until he’s sat in the airplane seat.”
